Assistant Accountant

Job Description
Reception/Assistant to the Accountant and the Finance team in the execution of duties in the Accounting and Finance department.
Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome all guest and customers.
Answers the telephone and direct all incoming call.
Create Quotations as needed.
Process and safeguard of petty cash.
Order, account for and maintain office supplies.
Process all cash receipts.
Create and process all sales invoices.
Ensure Vat is charged and collected for all vatable sales/revenue.
Ensure all Vat Input is ready for the monthly VAT reporting by the 21st.
Ensures all documentations (leasing and in-house financing) are accurate and complete.
Prepare and reconcile all Warranty and special receivables.
Process and record all returned goods when received.
Process and record accurately all discounts, credit notes and bad debt write-offs.
Record all payments to customers’ accounts on a daily basis from the bank account.
Send to customers transaction acknowledgement receipt from direct deposits.
Prepare daily bank deposits for all checks and cash received with support.
Record and maintain the daily receipt register.
Reconcile all outstanding receivables.
Prepare aged receivables report and analysis monthly.
Timely monitoring and collections of all outstanding receivables.
Maintain all sales and customer records.
Track all Vacation, sick and other leave.
Assist the Accountant/Office Manager with any duties assigned as necessary.
Skills & Requirements
Minimum associate degree in accounting or 3 years of experience as an accounts receivable personnel. Excellent command of the English language. Computer skills essential. Must have experience using an accounting software.
